Rewind Bar Med Spa Reviews — Botox or filler: which question are you trying to answer?

Rewind Bar offers both Botox and dermal fillers. The FDA explains that botulinum toxin temporarily reduces muscle tightening, while fillers add material to tissue. The correct conversation starts with the feature that bothers you, not the brand name.

Observe the concern at rest and in motion

Lines that appear mainly with expression raise a different treatment question from a hollow area or contour concern visible at rest. An injector should watch your face move, assess anatomy and explain why either category is relevant.

Some concerns may not be improved by either injectable. Skin texture, pigment and acne scars often need a separate evaluation; do not choose filler merely because a line is visible in a photograph.

Compare distinct risk profiles

Botulinum toxin can cause unwanted weakness or drooping and rarely more serious symptoms. Fillers can cause swelling, nodules or, rarely, serious vascular injury. Ask how the proposed injector prevents, recognizes and responds to the relevant complication.

Discuss pregnancy or nursing, allergies, medicines, previous injectables and any active skin problem. Product labeling and the intended treatment site matter; FDA approval of a product does not automatically cover every proposed facial use.

Choose the least vague plan

Ask which one or two changes the clinician expects each product to make, when to assess the effect and whether combining treatments has evidence for your specific goal. The FDA notes that safe use of fillers with toxin has not been evaluated in controlled clinical studies.

Get separate product names, quantities, costs and follow-up terms. A two-product package is not inherently better than a narrower plan or no procedure. The consultation should leave you able to explain why each item is proposed.
