Rewind Bar Med Spa Reviews — Questions to ask about support after a med spa treatment

Care does not end when an appointment does. Before an injection, laser or skin procedure, find out which reactions are expected, which require a call and who will be available to assess a concern afterward.

Get procedure-specific instructions

Ask what normal short-term changes may occur, how to care for the treated area and when ordinary activities or products can resume. Request written instructions for the exact procedure, not one generic med spa handout.

The AAD recommends discussing preparation and recovery before cosmetic treatment. For microneedling, the FDA specifically notes that treated skin may be more sensitive to sun and skincare products, making individualized aftercare important.

Know the contact route

Ask which number or channel reaches the treating team during business hours and after hours. Find out when you should expect a reply, who reviews photographs or symptoms and when you would be referred for urgent assessment.

For filler, ask about warning signs of serious complications and the clinic's response plan. The FDA identifies potentially severe adverse events; a patient should know how to seek prompt help rather than wait for a routine check-in.

Clarify scheduled follow-up

Ask whether a follow-up visit is planned, what it includes and whether it carries a separate fee. For a series, ask when the clinician will reassess progress and how a new concern could change later sessions.

Record the answers before paying for a package or financing it. A clear follow-up plan is part of the service you are comparing, even though it may not appear in an advertised price or a short review.
