Rewind Bar Med Spa Reviews — Microneedling or a chemical peel for texture?

Rewind Bar lists PRP and radiofrequency microneedling as well as VI Peel. The choice depends on whether the issue is surface tone, an acne scar, fine lines or another diagnosis; no single procedure is best for every texture concern.

Identify the texture problem

Acne scars can be depressed, raised or mixed, and the AAD says different scar types may need different treatments. Ask a qualified clinician to examine the skin rather than choosing from a photograph or a broad label such as rough texture.

Peels exfoliate skin at a selected depth. Microneedling creates controlled punctures; radiofrequency microneedling adds energy, and PRP may be used with needling. Those differences affect the questions you should ask about device, depth, operator and expected response.

Compare risks and recovery

Ask about pigment-change risk, infection prevention, skin tone, recent sun exposure and past scarring. The AAD notes microneedling can cause temporary redness or swelling, while peel recovery varies dramatically with depth.

The FDA recommends asking whether a fresh microneedling cartridge is used for each session. If radiofrequency is proposed, discuss its separate risk profile rather than treating it as an ordinary facial; serious complications have been reported with some uses.

Choose a measurable plan

Ask which feature the procedure is expected to improve, when improvement could reasonably be judged and whether multiple treatments are likely. For significant scarring, discuss whether dermatology evaluation or a combination approach is more suitable.

Compare written totals that include consultations, sessions, follow-up and home-care products. A lower first-session quote may not reflect the full plan, and a service name cannot guarantee a particular amount of scar improvement.
